FPV drone flight: Forest Floor Scenery
A real place scanned in 3D. Fly it with a simulated FPV drone right in the browser.
Free, in the browser: your radio over USB, a gamepad or the keyboard.
This is a 3D Gaussian splatting scan of a real place or object. Scanned by Dany Bittel and published on SuperSplat on 9 October 2026. It has no collision file yet, so the drone passes through everything: good for camera lines and free flight, not for crash practice. Default drone: BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro class, 3S. More presets and your own Betaflight rates are in the settings. Download: about 53 MB, streamed from SuperSplat's CDN straight into your browser.
A tiny plot of land in the forest, roughly 6 cm in diameter. Shot in the studio from 110 perspectives, 59 focus stacked images each. Nikon Z8, full frame, f/11, 1/50s, ISO 100, Laowa 180mm macro…

Questions and answers
Can I fly “Forest Floor Scenery” without installing anything?
Yes. Open the scene in a desktop browser with WebGPU (Chrome or Edge), connect an EdgeTX radio over USB or a gamepad, or use the keyboard, and fly. It is free and nothing is installed.
Does the drone crash into the walls of “Forest Floor Scenery”?
Not yet: this scan has no collision file on SuperSplat, so the drone flies through everything. The simulator shows a "no walls" badge on such scenes.
Who made this scan, and may I use it?
Dany Bittel scanned it and published it on SuperSplat without a stated licence. The simulator only loads it from SuperSplat's CDN and credits the author; ask the author before using it anywhere else.
How big is the download?
About 53 MB. It streams from SuperSplat's CDN, coarse detail first, so you can fly before it has fully loaded.
Can I change the size of the scene?
Yes. The [ and ] keys scale the whole scan around the drone from ×0.25 to ×100, the walls with it: a room can fly like a city, a street like a table-top model.
